Everything on this day revolved around textiles. During Kleer’nzooi XXL, we gave the stage to local initiatives committed to clothing with a greener story. It was big — it was XXL! We’re proud we had more tan 1600 visitors to steel the show, thanks!

On november 1st Groningen was all about green clothing choices! In the Martinikerk, we pulled out all the stops! Will we see you again next year?!

Workshops

Tijdens Kleer’nzooi XXL kun je deelnemen aan -tal creatieve workshops, georganiseerd door vijf enthousiaste workshophouders in de Martinikerk. Of je nu je kleding wilt upcyclen, zelf nieuwe accessoires wilt maken, of wilt leren hoe je je favoriete kledingstuk kunt repareren.  Allemaal simpele praktische vaardigheden om wat liever om te gaan met je kledingkast. Ook jij kunt dat! 

In het Forum wordt ook een DIY repaircafé gecreëerd. Hier kun je je kleding laten repareren of zelf leren hoe je dat kunt doen onder begeleiding van “ékte” experts. Dit repaircafé heeft een letterlijk lage drempel, om kledingstukken een tweede leven te geven. Want we mogen wel een beetje bewuster omgaan met alle textiel in onze kast.

Wie gaan we daar zien?

Wat kun je doen?

  • Haken (van gebruikteT-shirts)
  • Gutsen en drukken
  • Kleding pimpen & repareren met borduurwerk 
  • Patches maken
  • Vieze, oude sneakers weer tot nieuw laten shinen!

Dus neem je oude lievelings mee, dat ene shirt wat een mooie print kan gebruiken of die gescheurde broek. Geef het een nieuw leven!
